"In the year 1973, Juan Cruz Diez Beltran was pushed out into the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He dashed through medical school in 2002, and in 2006, he started working in Africa as a medical doctor in HIV/AIDS related issues.Throughout his life he has always carried with him a love of the arts-from music (singing), painting, photography and who knows what after this! He works under the name of Juan Gongorin and has had photo exhibitions in Buenos Aires and Rosario, Argentina, as well as in La Paz, Bolivia. With the help of friends and family, he started the Maputo chapter of Parallel Project.Parallel Project was born out of an idea to enrich the lives of disadvantaged children via arts and crafts. Juan is looking forward to expanding the project here in Maputo, and then plans to take on the whole wide world!Juan's other interests are art house films, reading, and making friends all over the world- at which he has, so far, succeeded with flying colours!"
